Nothing can hide from the sun's heat

The sun lives in the heavens where God placed it. It bursts forth like a radiant bridegroom after his wedding. It rejoices like a great athlete eager to run the race. The sun rises at one end of the heavens and follows its course to the other end. Nothing can hide from its heat. Psalm 19: 4b- 6 NLT

Nothing can hide from its heat.

Can we have an amen?

This has been one of the hottest springs I can remember. I dread August if this is what late spring is like! Perhaps you live somewhere that is not as hot right now. Or someplace where it doesn't get warm at all.

Wherever you live, is there anywhere you can hide from the sun's heat?

Sure you can go indoors but that is only good when the air conditioner is running, right? If it goes out you are going to be very warm.

Nothing can hide from the sun's heat just like nothing and no one can hide from God. Sometimes it seems like God is really keeping an eye on us while at other times we are able to get by with not following God as well as we should. But God has not gone away. God is still there, just as the sun will still be rising in the morning.

God, there is no place we can escape from your presence. We are simply thankful that you love us and are eager to show mercy and grace. In Jesus' name. Amen.
