Sing a new song to the Lord! Let the
whole earth sing to the Lord! Sing to the Lord; praise his name. Each
day proclaim the good news that he saves. Publish his glorious deeds
among the nations. Tell everyone about the amazing things he does.
Great is the Lord! He is most worthy of praise! He is to be feared
above all gods. The gods of other nations are mere idols, but the
Lord made the heavens! Honor and majesty surround him; strength and
beauty fill his sanctuary. Psalm 96: 1-6 NLT
What has God done for you so far today?
If you just got out of bed, you may
think God hasn't had a chance to do anything yet. But look around
you. What do you see? What is the weather like? Are there any other
people or even animals around you? Look at your body. Has God done
any miracles there? What kinds of things has God done to get you
where you are right now? Perhaps you had a dream last night where God
spoke to you. What is God saying to you? If you are still having
problems answering these questions, think back over yesterday. What
publishable deeds did God do you in your life?
Take a moment to give God glory and
praise for all you realized God has done for you.
God, you are great! You are most worthy
of praise! You are to be feared above all. Honor and majesty surround
you, strength and beauty fill your sanctuary. In Jesus' name. Amen.
