Confession is good for the soul.
So, why don't we do it more often?
Why do we overlook our own sins and point enthusiastically at others' faults?
Today, in honor of God's name, let us list, either out loud or on a piece of paper, our many sins. Excuse me, our many, many sins. No, don't skip to the prayer. Right them down! Don't go to another website. Say them out loud! Even if it does take longer than a minute, name them. Now!
Lord, for the honor of your name, forgive these sins of mine. In Jesus' name. Amen.
