What are you singing today?

Let the godly sing with joy to the Lord, for it is fitting to praise him. Praise the Lord with melodies on the lyre; make music for him on the ten-stringed harp. Sing new songs of praise to him; play skillfully on the harp and sing with joy. Psalm 33: 1-3 NLT

What song is on your mind today? Are you singing a melody in your heart? Are you listening to music right now? Is the song a praise song or could it be sung as a praise to God? If not, what song could you think of right now if you were to sing a praise to God?

God wants our music in praise. Whether we sing, play an instrument or just listen to praise music, God wants us to lift up our songs. God wants to hear our joy, feel our grateful emotion s through music, and be surrounded by our praise.

Take sometime today to listen to and sing along with a favorite song or hymn of praise. Perhaps you could play an instrument instead. Or just sing right where you are your praise to God.

God, here is my praise and worship in song. May it be pleasing to you. In Jesus' name. Amen.
