Save us, O Lord our God! Gather us back from among the nations, so we can thank your holy name and rejoice and praise you. Praise the lord, the God of Israel, who lives from everlasting to everlasting! Let all the people say, “Amen!” Praise the Lord! Psalm 106: 47-48 NLT
Gather us together, God. We ask this not for our own sakes but for yours. Bring us into the house of worship so that we may praise your holy name. Help us not to beg and entreat but to praise and glorify. May we come before you with songs on our hearts. May we lift up our faces and our voices to your heavenly throne. May we glorify your name again and again. May we bless your almighty being and your incredible love. As we come before you altar, we will remember all the things you have done for us, even as we recall all the sinful things we have done against you and others. We will praise you for your unfailing love, mercy and righteousness. There will be no end to all of our praises and our worship. We simply ask for your help to gather is in worship this very week. Bring us all together in one place for your glory. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
