The Lord merely spoke, and the heavens were created. He breathed the word, and all the stars were born. He gave the sea its boundaries and locked the oceans in fast reservoirs. God has a powerful voice. It is the voice of creation. God's breath or Spirit can do remarkable things.
Even when science explains the how we should be in awe of God.
God is the why. God's voice is the voice of creation. God's breath is the breath of new life. We should not be afraid of understanding the world through science while at the same time being in awe of all God's creation. Just because the world did not appear as if by magic does not make God's voice, God's breath and God's creative power less believable.
God, we are in awe of you. Help us to embrace the discoveries of science so that we can be more and more in awe of what you have created in this world. In Jesus' name. Amen.
